If you’ve tagged your LinkedIn account with “Open To Work” please post something. Anything that tells a potential employer or client WHY they should employ you.
A case study from your recent gig. A summary of what you did at your last job and what you want from the next. Bullet points will do. Then pin it to the top of your profile’s featured content.
Sometimes, when I see that green ‘Open to Work” flash, I like to have a quick look over your profile to see what you’ve been up to. If there’s a post in your activity feed, occasionally I’ll share it. No idea if it helps, but it can’t hurt.
It’s just really hard to do that is there’s nothing there. Or nothing from the past few months anyways.
I know I might be a bit “odd” with wanting to help people out, but there you go. Hopefully I’m not the only one.
