After keeping my portfolio tucked away on another site for too long, it's now moved here. My design work has stretched out across a 30 year career in consulting and compliance. I learnt to prepare investment reports at a young age, and from there took every opportunity to create documents, charts and graphics that added colour, texture and depth to the written word.

The site's undergone a major redesign both in how it looks and how WordPress is used. My aim in this rebuild was to create a faster loading design which has a more contemporary feel.

After feedback about how distracting my unique take on the Hamburger menu was, I’m afraid Tako is no more. The little blinking octopus that served as a route into the “more menu” has been retired and replaced the traditional “3 dots”.
I have been asked why I put it at the bottom of the page, and the answer is mobile users. It’s a lot easier to reach if you’re using your phone one handed on a train.
